$30–$34/hour
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated clinician who enjoys helping residents improve mobility, rebuild strength, and regain independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Work with residents on strength, balance, gait, mobility, endurance, and functional activities
- Follow individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals
- Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications
- Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
