Role Overview:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care, helping to implement treatment plans and assist in the rehabilitation process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
  • Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility and function.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and assist with clinic management.
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and adhere to clinic policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current Massachusetts PTA license and CPR certification.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and basic clinical procedures.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Compassionate and customer-focused with a commitment to patient care.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with frequent movement and manual dexterity.
