Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Position Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence
• Observe resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety recommendations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and physicians to support quality resident outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
