Fitness Matters is looking for a Personal Trainer to join our collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys individualized coaching, functional movement, and helping clients make meaningful progress in a supportive, education-driven environment.
Unlike a traditional gym setting, Fitness Matters brings physical therapy, personal training, Pilates, and wellness services together under one roof. You’ll work with clients who are motivated to improve their strength, mobility, balance, function, and overall health, often as part of a broader wellness or post-rehab journey.
Flexible Opportunity - Part-time or Full-time Hours
Ideal availability includes Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-7:30pm, with flexible Saturday availability.

Responsibilities
Your Role
- Facilitate fitness training sessions in individual and small group settings
- Developing fitness programs based upon client needs
- Coaching clients on their form and functional movement during exercise
- Learning clients’ medical history for risk prevention
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enjoys working with a diverse group of people
- Working within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Exercise Physiology (or similar) required
- Certified Personal Trainer (ACE, ISSA, NASM, etc.) preferred
- Desire to be part of a team that values communication and collaboration.
