YOUR NEW ROLE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Your workday will run from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in alignment with the Polk County School Board calendar. You'll enjoy a regular daytime schedule and school holidays and breaks.

You will spend your days providing direct patient care to children, helping them recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their mobility. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will carry out individualized treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, and document each student's progress. Your patience and dedication to working with kids with special needs will be key as you help them achieve physical wellness in a supportive school setting.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Licensed or certified to practice
  • Effective communication skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong time management skills
  • Patience for kids with special needs
