Location: Portland, OR
Pay Rate: Starts at $54/hour (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist (PT) provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients in an acute care hospital setting. The PT evaluates patient functional status, develops individualized treatment plans, and implements therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience, strong clinical decision-making skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

Active Oregon Physical Therapist License or eligibility to obtain.

Current BLS Certification.

Acute Care Hospital experience required.

Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation interventions.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation teams.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge recommendations.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and rehabilitation standards.

Assist with safe patient mobility and discharge planning.
