Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting for a 13-week contract working 8-hour day shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in providing rehabilitative care through therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, massage techniques, and other therapeutic interventions designed to improve patient mobility and functional independence. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a rehabilitation team. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience
Active Texas PTA License or Compact License required
BLS certification required
Experience in SNF or rehab setting preferred
Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques
Ability to follow and implement treatment plans under PT supervision
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
