Description
Performs professional Physical Therapy activities consisting of planning and implementing individual and group treatment activities in a collaborative child- and family-centered service delivery model under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

- Inform patient and family goals and progress.
- Maintain a full-time caseload that may include children and families receiving services through insurance, school-based services, consultation, or private pay models of service delivery.
- May supervise students.
Skills, Qualifications, and Certifications/Licensure Requirements

Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist Assistant OR eligible to sit for the exam. License must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. - Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- Professional writing skills that include the ability to reflect medical necessity in documentation and communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team as well as other stakeholders in a child’s plan of care.
- Time management skills necessary to meet clinic requirements for clinician efficiency as well as documentation and billing timeframes.
Responsibilities and Requirements unique to this location:
- Must be willing to take students
- Work two days a week until 6 pm - most children will not be diagnosed with vision therapy needs until they are school aged.

Understand and incorporate vision development if indicated in PT plan of care.
- Gross motor performance as it relates to vision development
- Reflex Integration exercises.
