Full-Time Physical Therapist

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available in Greenwood, MO within a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic. This role is a strong fit for a new graduate ready to build clinical confidence or an experienced PT looking for a steady outpatient role with professional growth.
You will work with patients ages 11 to 90, primarily treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic uses WebPT and has a clinical team made up of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants.
Compensation
New Graduate: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience
Schedule Options
The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following schedules:
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
What the Role Looks Like
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, build treatment plans, provide therapy, monitor outcomes, and help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and daily function.
The clinic sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week, with each PT typically seeing 7–15 patients per day. The patient flow supports a busy but structured outpatient environment where teamwork and communication are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal needs
- Create treatment plans based on diagnosis, function, goals, and clinical findings
- Provide hands-on care, therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and functional movement work
- Guide patients through recovery plans and home exercise programs
- Reassess progress and adjust treatment when appropriate
- Complete documentation in WebPT accurately and on time
- Work closely with PTAs and fellow clinicians to support patient progress
- Help patients return to work, sports, daily routines, and improved physical function
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable treating patients across a wide age range
