Position Overview

A Belton outpatient orthopedic clinic is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist. This role is designed for someone who wants to work with a varied patient population, build treatment plans that fit real recovery goals, and provide care in a modern clinical setting.

The patient population ranges from 11 to 90 years old, and the primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with patients who may be recovering from injury, managing pain, rebuilding strength, improving mobility, or returning to daily routines.

Schedule Options

Preferred Option: Four 10-Hour Days

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off every week

Second Option: Monday–Friday Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Patient and Clinic Details

  • Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
  • Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 visits
  • Patient Age Range: 11–90 years old
  • Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
  • EMR System: WebPT

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and reassessments for new and existing patients
  • Develop treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physical presentation
  • Provide therapy for orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, mobility limitations, and post-surgical recovery
  • Guide patients through strengthening, stretching, balance, mobility, and functional movement programs
  • Use manual therapy and other appropriate interventions within scope of practice
  • Educate patients on exercises, body mechanics, activity modification, and recovery expectations
  • Track progress and adjust treatment plans when needed
  • Complete clinical documentation in WebPT
  • Work closely with PTAs and other clinic staff to support patient care


Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong patient communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-based clinic environment
