Clinical Director — Outpatient Physical Therapy Prunedale, CA

About This Opportunity

This is a confidential search for a Clinical Director at a well-established, mission-driven outpatient physical therapy practice with 7 locations on the Central Coast of California. This is a chance to lead within a practice that is deeply committed to clinical excellence and built on a culture where mastery, positivity, and service are lived out every single day.

About the Practice

This is a comprehensive outpatient practice staffed by Doctors of Physical Therapy with a strong reputation for results. Their services span orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, vestibular and concussion rehab, spinal rehab, pelvic health, pediatrics, golf performance, and more. The practice is equipped with advanced tools including an AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill and offers custom foot orthotics and performance fitness programming alongside traditional PT. This is not a cookie-cutter outpatient clinic — it's a full-spectrum human performance center.

The Role

The Clinical Director is both a treating clinician and a hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day operations, clinical quality, and team culture of the Prunedale location. They work closely with regional leadership, mentor and develop the therapists on their team, and ensure that every patient receives an exceptional, results-driven experience. This person sets the tone — modeling the standard of care, championing the culture, and holding themselves and their team accountable to continuous growth.

Who They're Looking For

The right candidate is someone who leads by example, earns respect through clinical excellence and genuine care for the people around them, and has a natural ability to bring out the best in others. They are looking for a Doctor of Physical Therapy with their Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) designation, strong outpatient orthopedic experience, prior leadership or mentorship experience, and a genuine passion for developing other clinicians. Experience in any of the practice's specialty areas — vestibular, sports rehab, pelvic health, spinal rehab, or concussion — is a plus. OCS is required — not preferred.
