Exercise Science -- Graduate Assistant

GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP. Adelphi University offers graduate assistantships to qualified candidates on a competitive basis to those interested in pursuing the Master's of Science Degree in Exercise Science. A strong exercise science curriculum is supported with an active research laboratory and on-site client/patient populations. Responsibilities include research laboratory support, teaching fitness-based activity classes and supervision of: adult fitness/cardiac rehabilitation program, teenage obesity intervention program, and physiological assessments of athletes. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, physical education, biology, or allied health. Pre-requisite undergraduate courses include: Human Anatomy/Physiology, Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology or Biomechanics.
