About the Job
Personal Trainer provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for clients during Personal Training appointments. Personal Trainer is expected to complete a minimum of 3-5 hours of personal training hours per week. This position is also expected to teach a minimum of 1-2 Group Exercise classes per week, substitute classes, and support the Wellness Team with shift coverage on a needed basis.
-Position regularly requires increased physical activity with the ability to stand and move frequently; must be able to lift 45 pounds.
-Position will require demonstration of exercises, using good form and technique, which may be physically demanding.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Minimum of 2 years of personal training experience
Flexible scheduling with the availability to teach and cover classes
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification, First Aid/CPR, TRX or other small group certification. Advanced certification or advanced degree in Exercise Physiology preferable.
