From body builder to video producer, meet the CEO of JamCore Training, Jamo Nezzar. – Sarah
Sarah: What attracted you to the field of fitness and exercise?
Jamo Nezzar: I used to compete as an IFBB pro bodybuilder. From day one I always had the passion to teach and educate, as well as inspire and motivate people to get healthy and stay that way…as we were created to move, act, and react. The day we stop moving is the day we die!!
Your Job Title and Company?
CEO JamCore Training
A typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you?
Get up at 430 am for breakfast workout with clients at my studio, next train myself, next work on editing the film I shoot on the weekend for the JamCore online show. Evening is online client consultations.
How did you get your current job in fitness and exercise?
I made it my own…I produce, direct, and do my own video and training work. I have been fortunate also to have had a great career as a pro bodybuilder. When I retired from competing I always wanted to do something different. I was the first guy that did the video IPOD workout. Then I started myfittribe.com, a great social network. Now, I have JamCore Training, which is my baby, as well as many projects in the making.
What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way?
I was always athletic as well as creative and driven. When I put my mind into something, I always excel at it if I enjoy it and have fun doing it. If it bores me mid way, I let go and focus on what makes me happy. Creating JamCore is a fun process as I have full control of production and I’m a boss that is always open minded to other ideas from the people I work with as I think more quality people involved makes the product much more special and this is why I called my business JamCore and Not JAMO.com :)
What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you?
NEVER LOSE YOUR VISION , MAKING MISTAKES IN LIFE AND FAILING WILL MAKE U MUCH MORE SUCCESSFUL as the more your fail and are driven the more have the chance to make it just be consistent and realistic and leave the rest to the almighty just work hard and SMART!!!!
If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what would it be?
GIVE BACK TO THE NEEDY !!!
