What attracted you to the field of fitness and exercise?
I always love helping people. And knowing that I knew I can help them achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Your Job Title:
Medical Exercise Specialist Manager

Company you are with now:
Pongo Power Inc, and Slope Fitness, and I also have my own private clients.

Describe a typical (or not so typical) day in the work-life for you:
I'm usually out of the door by 5 a.m. I'm all over Brooklyn and Manhattan. From training in Prospect Park, then to the studios. Then, I go to a couple's home to train them in their home gym (post-rehabilitation). Then, it's on to Manhattan to work with another post-rehab client.

How did you get your current job in fitness and exercise?:
I knew the owner of Pongo Power, and when she asked me if I wanted to work with her, I simply said yes. At Slope Fitness, I needed a place to work with a couple folks that love going on adventure trips. Once I saw the gym has everything I need for them, I had them signed up...(one of them just climbed Kilimanjaro last year).

What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way?:
I'm a good listener and I always try to give people the best advice possible. But along the way, I realized that sometimes, people don't want to hear what you have to say...they just want you to listen to them.

What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you?:
As much as you might know, remember, there's always someone who knows more than you. Always strive to better yourself by keeping up with the trends.

If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what  would it be?
Spending time with family. Such a great feeling when I see an entire family together.
