What attracted you to the field of health and wellness? As an adult, exercise and training keep me sane. So, when I had the opportunity to connect my passion with my work, I jumped at the opportunity.

A typical (or not so typical) day-in-the-work-life for you: I spend time trying to get across what we (OLIVERS Apparel) are all about. Sure, we make an excellent product and we’re lucky to have very loyal customers that can attest to that, but we also stand for a community and a very specific set of values.
How did you get your current job in health and wellness? I met our Founder, David Wolfe, and loved what he was working on. When he offered me the chance to help out, I was living in Brooklyn. I sold 80% of what I owned, sent the rest with Shyp, and flew to San Francisco in the next month.
What skills were you born with and what skills have you learned along the way? I wasn’t born with much, and I have three older brothers that will back me up on that. But I was lucky to be born into a great family that has supported me in whatever I want to do. If I know anything, it’s because of them.
What advice do you have for others wanting to be just as successful and fulfilled as you? Find the closest intersection of what you love to do and what you are good at, then work at getting better.
If you could be paid for your job with something other than a paycheck, what would it be? I kind of want a Pomeranian right now, but I don’t much want to be responsible for it, so maybe, dog walking services. If not that, then frequent flyer miles.
