| Job Description and Requirements |
Responsible for all Cardiology exercise testing. Coordinates technicians and patients with consulting from the Cardiologists. Requirements: Master’s Degree from accredited school of Exercise Physiology. Training in graded exercise testing. EKG analysis and interpretation. Cardiovascular exercise physiology. Cardiac rehabilitation principles. Exercise prescription and leadership, nutrition and social science. Must have prior experience in dealing with cardiopulmonary patients and their families. Previous experience in participating in scientific research highly desirable. Required Licensure, Certification or Registry: Clinical Exercise Specialist Certification by American College of Sports Medicine is mandatory. Current American Heart Association BLS cert. ACLS is desirable. Membership in the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) is desirable.
